Weddings at Bogus Basin

An outdoor wedding ceremony and reception in a mountain setting is the natural choice for many couples. We can help you create a memorable event in a casual environment.  Our catering specialists provide attentive service, helping you plan the day of your dreams.  We provide everything but the cake!

Lodges and facilities are not available for private events during the ski season.

Wedding & Reception Lodge Rentals

J.R. Simplot Lodge

  • $1000 (plus tax) rental fee when used with Bogus Basin Catering services (plus $2,500 catering minimum. See menu)

The rental fee (which is also the reservation deposit) includes initial setup, cleanup, interior tables and chairs, limited decor, table linens, china & glassware for maximum 300 guests. There are additional fees for outside setup of tables, chairs and tents.  Simplot Lodge is located at the resort entrance, with a large grassy/lawn area in front, a brick patio for dancing and plenty of free parking.

Pioneer Lodge (mid-mountain)

  • $900 (plus tax) rental fee when used with Bogus Basin Catering services (plus $2,500 catering minimum. See menu)

Rental fee (which is also the reservation deposit) includes initial setup, cleanup, interior and patio/deck tables and chairs, limited decor, table linens, china, glassware and flatware for maximum 150 guests.  Additional fees for outside setup (on the tennis courts), tables, chairs and tents.  The Pioneer Lodge is located mid-mountain, within walking distance of the Pioneer Condominiums and outdoor amphitheater.  It features views of the valley in a cool, peaceful alpine environment with a wide deck leading off of the 2nd floor offering views of the mountainside and valley.

Frontier Point Nordic Lodge and Education Center

  • $850 (plus tax) WITH Bogus Basin Catering services plus $1,500 catering minimum

Rental fee includes initial setup and cleanup, tables, chairs, limited menu options (see "Frontier Point and Offsite Catering menu"), table linens & high-grade disposable tableware for maximum capacity 75 guests indoors, and 90 guests for indoors plus upper patio. Frontier Point Lodge is located 1/4-mile past the resort entrance at the nordic trailhead, near the Pioneer Road turnoff.  This is Bogus Basin's newest lodge, with hand-hewn pine logs and large windows with west facing views of the Owyhee Mountains.

  • $1,200 (plus tax) WITHOUT Bogus Basin Catering services, plus a $500 refundable damage deposit.

Rental fee includes initial setup and cleanup, tables, and chairs for maximum capacity of 75 guests indoors and 90 guests indoor plus upper patio. Outside caterers ALLOWED at this lodge only.  Frontier Point Lodge does not have a kitchen so full-service caterers are recommended.  Special Note: All alcohol must be provided and served by Bogus Basin catering. 

Additional information and policies for weddings & receptions:

  • The rental fee is the deposit, due at time of contract signing, and required to hold your reservation.
  • Estimated catering charges are due in full 14-days prior to event date.
  • Please read our entire catering policies carefully.
  • All alcohol provided at events on Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area property must be purchased and served by the Bogus Basin Catering Department.
  • Catering minimums do not include Bogus Basin facility rental fees or any additional rental fees that may be incurred for items not provided or included in the base facility rental fee.
  • Wedding and reception lodge rentals are for 14-hours.  Time spent utilizing lodge facilities over and above the agreed upon time will incur an addtional rate of $25/hour.
  • Reservations and deposits for the amphitheater or condominiums must be handled separately with the personnel at Pioneer Inn Condominiums at 208-332-5200 or 1-800-367-4397.
