LifeSports Program for grades 3-12
Bogus Basin offers the Lifesports Ski & Snowboard Program to schools around the Treasure Valley, including homeschool
groups and community youth organizations. The program is designed to affordably teach winter sports in conjunction with the schools'
Lifetime Sports or Physical Education curriculum.
The Bogus Basin Lifesports Program is designed for students in grades 3-12 (ages 8 to 18). This program is not
designed for adults. Qualified instructors help students develop and improve skiing/snowboarding skills while focusing
on the enjoyment of skiing/snowboarding as a lifetime sport. LifeSports participants have the opportunity to alpine ski,
snowboard, or Nordic (cross-country) ski. Minimum of 25 total participants required.
Please note: LifeSports packages do NOT include student transportation.

LifeSports Lesson Times:
Monday through Friday*: 10 AM, 12 PM, 2 PM
*Thursday Lessons at 10 AM and 2 PM are very limited, please reserve early for preferred dates and times!
The Lessons
Classes are formed according to the ability level of the student, from the first time beginner to the
advanced skier/snowboarder. Lesson content will vary between each group.
- Level I (beginner) classes are for those who have never skied or
snowboarded before. Lessons for first-timers will begin with equipment familiarization and progress toward riding on
beginner terrain.
- Instructors of Level II (Advanced Beginner) classes
will help students concentrate on developing wedge turns and controlled stops on beginner slopes.
- Level III (Intermediate & Advanced) classes
will cover various topics depending on ability level. Topics may include Terrain Park Sessions, Advanced Carving, Breakthrough to
Parallel, and Introduction to Racing.
Note:
All lesson fees are non-refundable. Lesson prices do not include lift
access or equipment. All programs based on availability.
