(directions)Join us on the mountain for a
Geocache Adventure Day, part of the 'Trek, Trail, and Treasure' Summer Adventure Series at Bogus Basin Mountain Recreation Area. Bring your GPS and learn how to use it (if you don't already know how) then use your outdoor skills to find hidden caches around Bogus Basin Mountain. We will have a limited supply of GPS units to borrow for an hour or two (courtesy of REI) if you don't have your own. Bring sturdy walking and hiking shoes, water bottles and your spirit of adventure!
The Geocache Adventure Day is free to participate although donations are appreciated (we'll have a donation box near the barbecue).
BBQ lunch with burgers, hot dogs and beverages for $6-$10 per person from 11am -2pm (while supplies last)
11am - beginner GPS instruction, pointers on how to get GPS coordinates
11:15am - guided Nature Hike (45 minutes to an hour)
11am-2pm - BBQ and beverages on the patio, while supplies last!
1pm - beginner GPS instruction, pointers on how to get GPS coordinates
1:15pm - guided Nature Hike (45 minutes to an hour)
